Many people today are making the switch to solar powered lights simply for the fact that do not use power throughout their use. While it used to be that solar powered lights were expensive due to the costs associated with manufacturing the solar cells themselves, this is no longer the case seeing as though recent advances in solar technology has allowed the development of thin-film cells which can be produced at a much cheaper rate.
